The Vision & Blueprint
The goal of this project is to create a textured throw blanket using worsted weight yarn. Instead of traditional stripes, it’s built out of modular motifs that form a sunflower bouquet patchwork.
Color Palette
- Petals: Mustard / Goldenrod Yellow
- Centers: Espresso / Dark Brown
- Background & Border: Sage Green and Cream
Materials & Specs
- Yarn: Worsted weight acrylic (for durability and easy washing)
- Hook Size: 5.0 mm (H-8) to keep the stitches relatively tight but soft
- Final Dimensions: Target is 50" x 60" (roughly 80 individual square motifs)
